Pittsburgh (Chris Boswell), Tampa Bay (Nick Leverett) and Cincinnati (coaches James Casey and Justin Hill) have qualified for the playoffs.
Don Maynard (1935-2022):
On Monday, Don Maynard, the Hall of Fame receiver for the New York Jets, passed away. A native Texan, he started his collegiate career at Rice where he was on a track scholarship for the fall semester of his freshman year (class of 1957) before transferring to Texas Western (now named UTEP).
