    Fall Ball begins on Monday, September 29 and runs until November 12.  There will be exhibition games at Reckling Park vs. Tulane on October 11 and Lamar on October 18.  Also, the Longball Classic takes place on November 11.

    In California, Natalie Beazant won her first round match at the All-American before falling to Boston College’s Jessica Wacnik.  Next, Natalie and Liat Zimmermann (currently the #20 ranked doubles team in the country) will play for the Main Draw Doubles

    Donald Bowers '91:
    Ferguson town hall addresses race and justice (Rice News)

    Bill Turner (1929 - 2014):
    On September 22, Bill Turner passed away.  A native Texan, he graduated from Rice.  He was in the military for 27 years, serving multiple tours in Korea and Vietnam and then traversing the United States in an Army recruiting band.  Afterwards, he worked 20 years for Occupational Health Services in Washington.  Click here for the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal obituary.
