    • This week, Rice baseball plays at Sam Houston State on Tuesday and a conference series at UCF on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
    • On Saturday, April 21, Philip Humber threw the 21st perfect game in MLB history with a 4-0 Chicago win against Seattle.
    • On June 29-30, Coach Graham will be inducted into the College Baseball Hall of Fame in Lubbock.

    Tiffany's European Pastry Tour:
    As previously reported, this year’s Goliard Travel Scholarship winner is Tiffany Ho ’12 who just started her pastry eating and baking tour of Europe.  Click here for her first blog entry from Paris entitled “Merde il pleut”. 

    Kaushik "Ram" Sriram (1944-2012):
    On May 4, Kaushik “Ram” Sriram passed away, after a long illness.  Born in India, he received a B Tech  (‘65) from the Indian Institute of Technology and a MS (’66) and a PhD (’67) from Rice, all in Electrical Engineering.  He was a Research Geophysicist for Shell Oil for over 20 years and also a patent attorney for more than 15 years.  Click here for the Chronicle obituary.
