    MLB/MiLB Scoreboard Yesterday:
    Tyler Duffey (3-4, 2.82) pitched 7 shutout innings to win game 1 for AAA Rochester and he has now “extended his streak of not giving up an earned run to 3 starts (22 1/3 innings)”.  Zech Lemond (4-5, 5.03) was the losing pitcher for Hi-A Lake Elsinore.

    Shane Hoelscher (.317) went 2-for-5 with a double, a run and 3 RBI for AA Asheville.

    Lance Berkman '98:
    Tonight, Lance Berkman '98 will be inducted into the College Baseball Hall of Fame in Lubbock.  Read more.

    Brad Lardon '86:
    Yesterday, Brad Lardon ’86 finished tied for 38th place at 4-over par in the US Senior Open at Del Paso Country Club, Sacramento CA.  The Championship was won by Jeff Maggert (Texas A&M ’86), two strokes ahead of Colin Montgomerie (HBU ’87).  Click here for the results.

    Douglas Gooselaw  (1944 - 2015):
    On June 17, Douglas Gooselaw passed away.  A native Minnesotan, he earned a BA in German and English from Bemidji State in 1966 and a MA in German from Rice in 1968.  He enjoyed a teaching career at Benedict College in South Carolina, a community college near Houston and USC before returning to Montana to take care of his parents in their declining years.  Also, he was active in the community.  Click here for the Bozeman Daily Chronicle obituary.
