    NCAA Regionals:
    Yesterday, two regional (1) seeds Dallas Baptist and UC Santa Barbara lost.  Also, eight regional (2) seeds lost (Bradley, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, FAU, Ole Miss, Radford, Rice and USC).  Note the Missouri State regional will carry over today due to weather.

    Rice Athletic Hall of Fame member Wendy Wood-Yang ’86, a four-year tennis letter-winner (1983-84-85-86) and a two-time All-American (1985-86), is the daughter of knuckleballer Wilbur Wood, a three-time MLB All-Star (1971-72, 1974).  Effective May 1, Decker Brands appointedWendy, previously a general manager at New Balance, as the new brand president for Teva.
