Trivia Answer:
William Marsh Rice’s letter box is his only known surviving possession.  The letter box is presently on display as part of a wonderful William Marsh Rice exhibition at the Heritage Society until November 4 which was guest curated by Lee Pecht, Head of Special Collections at the Woodson Research Center.  Check it out!

University Professor Richard Tapia earned 3 UCLA degrees.  Interestingly, he was the first in his family to attend college.  Tomorrow, Rice football opens its season against UCLA at Rice Stadium.

Former Rice cheerleader Paul Tobolowsky ’69 is the older brother of Stephen Tobolowsky, a well-known character actor.  Stephen was also the lead singer in the first band formed by high school classmate and guitar legend Stevie Ray Vaughan.
