Through game 1 of Saturday’s doubleheader, Anthony Rendon was hitting .315/.382/.587 in 23 games in June.  Click here for a photo of Adam Zornes with Anthony at Wrigley Field on Saturday.

Player Moves:
On Saturday, Jeremy Rathjen was promoted to Hi-A Rancho Cucamonga from Dodgers Extended Spring Training.


MLB Scoreboard Yesterday:
Lucas Luetge (3-1, 3.68) was charged with a blown save and took the loss for AAA Tacoma and  Austin Kubitza (6-1, 2.37) threw 5 shutout innings but got a no-decision for A West Michigan.  Also, Matt Langwell (3-6, 3.86) was the losing pitcher for Somerset.

Jeremy Rathjen (.214) went 3-for-3 with a double and a walk for Hi-A Rancho Cucamonga and  Michael Ratterree (.253), the Rattler of the Game, went 3-for-3 with a double, a homer, a run, 2 RBI and a walk for A Wisconsin.  Also, Danny Lehmann (.328) went 2-for-4 with a run for Sugar Land.

On Wednesday, John Simms was promoted to AA Harrisburg from Hi-A Potomac and on Thursday, Tony Cingrani was placed on the 7-day DL (left shoulder strain).

Tyler Duffey (3-2, 4.26) only allowed 2 runs (1 earned) in 6.1 innings of work but got a no-decision in game 1 for AA New Britain, John Simms (1-0, 1.29) won his AA debut for Harrisburg and Chase McDowell (1-0, 8.31) won his first professional game for the GCL Nationals.
