Paul Janish:
Braves feel good about Janish in infield (MLB.com)

Player Moves:
On Friday, Cleveland recalled Matt Langwell from AAA Columbus, he was the winning pitcher in relief in game 2 of the doubleheader and yesterday the Indians optioned him back to Columbus.  Also, on Friday, Josh Geer was promoted from AA San Antonio to AAA Tucson.

MLB/MiLB Scoreboard Yesterday:
Josh Geer (0-1, 6.75) was the losing pitcher for AAA Tucson and Taylor Wall (1-1, 2.28) earned a hold for A Wisconsin.

Josh Rodriguez (.305) homered in game 1 for AA Binghamton and Michael Ratterree (.323) hit a 2-run double for R Helena.

Eastern League All-Star Game:
Josh Rodriguez was named to the Eastern Division team and Jameson Taillon to the Western Division team for the Eastern League All-Star game which will be played Wednesday, July 10 in New Britain, CT.  Click here for the release.

Joe Savery (1-0,, 2.25) was the winning pitcher in relief for Philadelphia.  Tyler Duffey (0-3, 6.65) was the losing pitcher for Hi-A Fort Myers.

Zackary Harwood '10:
On June 17, Zackary Harwood ’10 joined the Houston Astros as CRM Manager in the Marketing Analytics Department.  He helps the business side of the Astros make informed decisions based on customer demographics and market data.

On May 27, Seattle optioned Lucas Luetge to AAA Tacoma.  On May 31, Bobby Bramhall was assigned from AAA Lehigh Valley to AA Reading.  On June 7, Danny Lehmann was placed on the 7-day DL (right elbow neuritis).  On June 18, Cleveland optioned Matt Langwell to AAA Columbus.  On June 21, Atlanta recalled Paul Janish from AAA Gwinnett.  On June 21, Tim Byrdak began a rehab assignment with the R GCL Mets.
