Joe Durrenberger '54:
Last week, Joe Durrenberger and his team, the Nor-Cal Sharks, won the 2011 Summer National Senior Games 75+ Basketball Championship in Houston.   In the championship game, the Sharks defeated the Texas Hoopsters, 27-24.  A three-year basketball letterman (1954-55-56), Joe is a member of the Rice Athletic Hall of Fame as well as an actor.

Paul Hammon '75:
On Sunday, Paul Hammon scored a hole-in-one on the 180-yard No. 15 hole at Memorial Park.  The event was witnessed by John Eldridge '74, David Swenson '75 and Bryan Domning '75.
