Guest Trivia Answer:
First, thanks to Mike Ross for the guest trivia question!

John Hathorn (BA, 1918; MA, 1922) was a four-year baseball letterman (1915-16-17-18) who holds the Owls single game strikeout record (19 vs. SMU in 1919).  After teaching positions in Houston, Chicago and California, he joined the faculty of Sam Houston State Teachers College (now State University) in 1927. Interestingly, his son Frank graduated from Rice in 1957.

Way to go, Trey Cash, Jim Woodward, Peter Fasullo, Joe Quoyeser, Rod Boane, Bob Reinhold, Bryant Wilkinson, Frank Hathorn, Betty Bixby, Ann Bixby and Nancy Burch!
