Anh Reiss (1967 - 2016):
On February 26, Anh Reiss passed away after a nearly seven-year long fight with a blood cancer. A native of South Vietnam, she received a BA degree in Economics from Rice in 1989 and a MD from the State University of New York at Brooklyn in 1995.   She enjoyed a career as an OB/GYN who helped bring thousands of children in the world   She is survived by, among others, her husband Josh ’89 and two children.   Click here for the Chronicle obituary.

Richards-Kortum named special adviser to provost (Rice News)

Bill Storey (1935 - 2016):
On January 9, Bill Storey passed away.  A native Texan, he received a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Rice in 1958.  He served in the US Navy in the early days of the Vietnam conflict.  He enjoyed a 43-year career as an aerospace engineer for LTV and Lockheed-Martin.  He is survived by, among others, his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth.  Click here for the Dallas Morning News obituary.
