Current Owl football player Ryan Pollard played in 4 games for the Air Force as a freshman.  Trevor Carswell also transferred from Air Force to Rice but he never played there due to an injury.

There are in fact 2 sets of former high school football and track teammates, running legs on the same 4x200 relay team.  They are Falcon Drew Coleman and Owl Trevor McHargue at Cedar Park Vista Ridge and Falcon Cotton Huntsman and Owl Bryce Callahan at Cy Woods.
