David Willis (1934-2010):
On December 20, David Willis passed away at the age of 75.  A native of Dallas, he graduated from Rice in 1957 with a degree in Engineering.  After military service, he enjoyed a successful business career in the Dallas area.  Click here for the Dallas Morning News obituary.

Thomas Littman (1954-2010):
On Wednesday, Thomas Littman passed away suddenly.  A native of Wharton, he graduated from Rice with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.  For the last 24 years, he was Concert Manager for the Shepherd School.  Click here for the Chronicle obituary.

Caroline Vanderhoef (1924-2010)
On December 13, Caroline Vanderhoef passed away.  A native Houstonian, she attended Rice, she was married to Peter Vanderhoef for 61 years and she was active in her sorority Kappa Alpha Theta and the Jr. League.  Click here for the Chronicle obituary.

Lynette Bishop:
On December 14, Lynette Bishop passed away, just 3 weeks before her 90th birthday.  A native New Yorker, she spent the last 40 years of her life in Houston where she was actively involved at Rice and was a devoted Rice Athletics fan.   In fact, for many years, she was the gatekeeper of the first row behind home plate at Reckling Park.  Click here for the Chronicle obituary.
