Frank Jungman was the RSA president who participated in the pecan tree planting ceremony with US General John Pershing on February 5, 1920.  Click here for a very interesting article about the ceremony in the Rice Historical Society’s Cornerstone (Summer 2004, pp. 7-10).

First, thanks to Chris Reichert MBA '91 for the guest trivia question!

The Trauber Suite at Tudor Fieldhouse is named in honor of assistant basketball coach Steve Trauber ’84 (and his wife Leticia) whose Houston Select team 2014 won the 7th grade 2009 AAU National Championship in Memphis last July.  The other assistant coach was Faron Wiley MBA ’91.  You can check out the Houston Select 2014 website here.

Highest honors to Nick Kallail who knew both assistant coaches and identified the guest questioner as well!  And, way to go, Joe Quoyeser, Mike Ross, Betty Bixby and Kyle Frazier!
