Bob Kinney '42 was a member of the Boston Celtics' first NBA team (1949-50).  At Rice, he was a consensus Al-American in 1941 and 1942.  And, in 1970, he was part of the inaugural class of inductees into the Rice Athletic Hall of Fame.
