Simmons & Company International has leased approximately 31,000 sf at 609 Main at Texas, a 48-floor office tower in downtown Houston developed by Hines.  Two-year Rice baseball letterman Damon Thames (1998-99) of Colvill Office Properties represented Hines in the transaction.  Read more.

Coach Graham First Pitch @ Houston Astros, Tomorrow:
Coach Wayne Graham will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Astros game tomorrow, to celebrate Rice Baseball’s 2003 World Series Championships, alongside the Astros’ 2017 World Series Championship.  The Rice World Series trophy will also be on display at Minute Maid Park.  Game time is slated for 7:10 pm.

Rice Baseball:
On Saturday, Kendall Rogers, who was at Reckling Park, tweeted: “Have always enjoyed watching SS Ford Proctor.  He has three hits today and has looked incredibly smooth at shortstop with a strong arm as well.  There’s not much if anything I don’t like about his game.  Terrific and steady player.”
