NCAA W Tennis Singles Championship:
Yesterday, #37 Sinead Lohan of Miami defeated #32 Natalie Beazant 7-5, 6-1 in the Sweet Sixteen round of the NCAA W Tennis Singles Championship in Waco. 

For her career at Rice, the Joyce Pounds Hardy Award winner set school and C-USA records for NCAA singles wins (6) while twice reaching the Sweet 16 and earning All-American honors in both 2013 and 2015.

Coach Schmidt: “We are extremely grateful for Natalie, for her contributions to Rice, and for the everlasting impact that she has had on our program.  We wish her well as she starts a new chapter of life back in England and we know that she is going to continue to positively influence the lives of those around her.”

Six Rice Sports Earn NCAA Accolades (Rice Owls)

NCAA W Tennis Singles Championship:
Yesterday, #32 Natalie Beazant upset #14 Giuliana Olmos of USC 6-2, 6-4 in the Round of 32 of the NCAA W Tennis Singles Championship in Waco.  Today at 11 am CT, two-time All-American Beazant faces #37 Sinead Lohan of Miami in the Sweet Sixteen.  Click here for the Rice release.

Yesterday, #32 Natalie Beazant defeated #52 Breaunna Addison of Texas 6-4, 6-2 in the opening round of the NCAA W Tennis Singles Championship in Waco.  Today at noon, Beazant faces #14 Giuliana Olmos of USC in the Round of 32.  Click here for the Rice release.
