In 1971, Paul Zindel, who earned a bachelor’s degree in 1958 and a master’s degree in 1962 both in chemistry from Wagner College, won a Pulitzer Prize in Drama for ‘The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the Moon Marigolds’.
