Bill Frazier:
As reported, Bill Frazier ‘54 passed away at the age of 83 on Wednesday.  Click here for the Chronicle obituary.

Visitation will be held at George H Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Dr, tomorrow between 4 – 6 pm.  There will be a private burial at Forest Park Lawndale Sunday morning followed by a 2 pm memorial service at St Paul’s United Methodist Church, 5501 S Main.

Bill Frazier:
Last night, Bill Frazier passed away at the age of 83.  He graduated from Rice in 1954 where he was a two-sport letterman in football (1951-52) and baseball (1953).  After military service, he earned his law degree in 1963 from UH.  He is a past president of the R Association. 

His son Kyle graduated from Rice in 1983 and his grandson Brandt just entered Rice and is on the baseball team.  The funeral will be this Sunday.  Details to follow.

John Laxen (1957 - 2014):
On September 9, John “Big John” Laxen passed away.  He was employed by Rice for 36 years as an electrician.  His son Cory ’06 was a three-year football letterman (2003-04-05).  A celebration of his life will be held tomorrow at 10 am at Advantage Howard-Glendale Chapel, 1015 Federal Road, Houston.  Click here for the obituary.
