MLB/MiLB Scoreboard Yesterday:
Jon Duplantier (4-0, 1.98) pitched 7 shutout innings (7H, 0W, 9K) for the win for Hi-A Visalia.

Anthony Rendon (.317) went 2-for-4 with a homer (no. 21, surpassing last year’s total of 20), 2 runs and a RBI for Washington.  Skyler Ewing (.254) homered for A Augusta and Tristan Gray (.295) doubled in the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth for SS West Virginia.

According to a Pinstriped Prospects story, Glenn Otto is set to make his professional debut with SS Staten Island tonight.

Anthony Rendon:
On Monday, Anthony Rendon was named the first National League Player of the Week of the second half.  For the shortened week due to the All-Star break, he went 7-for-11 (.636), with a double, 3 homers, 3 walks, 4 runs and 9 RBI.  Read here.

MLB/MiLB Scoreboard Yesterday:
Zech Lemond (2-3, 4.56) was charged with the blown save and then the loss for Hi-A Lake Elsinore.

Brock Holt (.179) went 2-for-6 with a run for Boston.  Anthony Rendon (.320) singled and homered for Washington and he extended his hitting streak to 12 games, matching a career high.  Tristan Gray (.350) hit a 2-run homer for SS West Virginia.
