Freshman Stanford football player Walker Little, who played for Episcopal High School, is the grandson of the late Gene Little ’53 who earned football letters 1950-51-52.  Next Saturday, August 26, Rice football opens its season against Stanford in Sydney.

Rice men’s track coach Jon Warren represented the US in the IAAF World Championships in 1997 and former Rice track star Andrea Brackett represented Barbados in 6 IAAF World Championships (1999-2007).  

Former Rice track stars Lennie Waite and Ari Ince are set to participate in the upcoming IAAF World Championships in London beginning this Friday.  Lennie will be joined by Rice women’s track coach Jim Bevan.
