NFL Playoffs:
Yesterday, Denver defeated New England, 20-18, in the AFC Championship game to advance to the Super Bowl.  Klein Kubiak ‘13 is a Player Personnel Assistant and Jordan Taylor ’14 is on the Practice Squad for the Broncos.  Also, Patti Lipoma Kraft ’87, a member of the Rice Board of Trustees, is married to Jonathan Kraft, president of the Patriots.

NFL Playoffs:
On Sunday, Klein Kubiak and Jordan Taylor (Denver) defeated Chris Boswell (Pittsburgh) in the Roommate Bowl.  Watch here a 2012 C-USA video feature on Klein and Chris.  (Thanks, Ellen Pierce!)

In the loss, the Wizard of Boz was perfect, with 3 field goals (43, 28, 47) and 1 PAT.  In total, he kicked 7 field goals in the postseason, tying a Steelers record for most field goals in a single postseason.  (Thanks, Jeff Farney and John Wolda!)

Also, on Sunday, Luke Willson’s postseason came to an end as Carolina defeated Seattle, 31-24.
