Robert Shelton (1926 - 2014):
On August 20, Robert “Bob” Shelton passed away.  He graduated from Rice in 1948 where he was a one-year football letterman (1945) and earned a graduate degree from UH in 1953.  At Westchester High School in Spring Branch, he coached football and track and also served as a counselor, registrar and the Associate Principal.  In 1988, he was honored as an Exemplar Educator in the Hall of Fame in Spring Branch, his 40th year in education.
