Trivia Answer:
Holly Jones-Wright
’88, a two-time Hackerman Award winner for Team MVP, holds the Rice W Basketball record with 18 made free throws in a single game.  Her sister Stacy ’87 was a two-time Catherine Hannah Award winner as the top Rice swimmer of the year.  Together, the March 21, 1986 Thresher (p. 14) described them “as the best pair of sibling athletes this side of the Volga”.  (Thanks, Mike Ross!)

Stacy is married to Coach Warren.  Also, Holly’s son Zach is a wide receiver on the Rice football team. On October 23, Holly will be inducted into the Rice Athletic Hall of Fame.  Read more.
