On April 21, 2012, Philip Humber threw a perfect game and Lucas Luetge and Tony Cingrani each pitched part of a combined no-hitter on June 8, 2012 and May 4, 2018, respectively.  And, according to research by Mike Ross, Rice is the only college that can boast 3 former pitchers with MLB no-hitters in whole or in part since at least 1998. (He didn’t look further back.)   (Thanks, Mike Ross!)
