Trivia Answer:
On November 5, 1988, Owl LB Bill Stone ’90 returned a blocked extra-point try the length of the field for a safety against Notre Dame, becoming the first player in NCAA D1A history to score on an failed PAT.  Since Rice, he has enjoyed a successful career in the telecommunications industry.  Also, he was a member of the 2012-13 Owl Club Board of Directors.

The father of Rice OL Ian Gray, also named Ian Gray, was a two-year football letterman (1979-80) at Notre Dame.  On Saturday, Rice Football opens the season at Notre Dame.
